Memories

Memories is remembering, it is a journey of recreating the past. We recreate images according to our beliefs and preconceptions. We recreate memories. Memories are history, culture, an intrinsic element of our identity, they are images. Some of them appear clear in our mind, some are blurred. Some make sense, some others not. They are in an intangible space, in dimensions not fully accessed by our five senses. The aim of the present works, entitled Memories, is to create an artistic image which visually represents the process of remembering and rescuing our own memories. The creation of forms, patterns and shapes is achieved through the juxtaposition of thin acrylic layers on canvas, and the use of light and shadows. In Memories, like in our own memories, forms and images appear faded, ephemeral, and disappearing. Our eyes, like our mind, hang on to images to make sense of a broader picture. Memories is an invitation to the viewer to recall their own memories, building an internal map to help find one’s way into the future. The process of reflection during the creation of Memories contributed to the development of my personal artistic vision and will influence its future.

Landscapes

In the vast expanse of Landscapes, we encounter a visual symphony that transcends our senses. Mountains rise majestically, rivers meander through valleys, and forests whisper tales of ancient secrets. Landscapes are a reflection of history, geography, and the unique character of a region. They are the silent storytellers of our world.

Dancers

Dancers are the embodiment of poetry in motion, storytellers who weave tales through the eloquence of their movements. They carry with them the grace of the past, the energy of the present, and the promise of the future. Dancers are a visual symphony, a celebration of the human spirit expressed through the language of the body. Here the canvas becomes a stage, and each stroke of paint mirrors the rhythmic patterns and vibrant energy of dance.
